For safety purposes, your Zeno Acne Device will not operate when plugged into the wall charging unit. The Zeno Acne Device is started by the user by pressing the power button. This causes the internal microprocessor to begin a diagnostic sequence and the Zeno Acne Device heat treatment tip to ramp to a pre-set temperature. Once the treatment temperature is reached, and audible beep sounds and the Treatment Activation Button flashes green to indicate the Zeno Acne Device is ready to begin treatment and zap that pimple away.

In order to initiate a Zeno Acne Device treatment the user presses the Treatment Activation Button, the light turns green which starts a timing circuit, and the zeno treatment tip is placed onto the pimple. During the Zeno Acne Device Treatment, a treatment pacer tone sounds every 30 seconds to let the user know the treatment is in process. The Zeno Acne Device microprocessor ensures precise treatment each time by adjusting the flow of energy to the treatment top to match the heat absorption of the individual user. Zeno's microprocessor adapts not only to your individual skin type but also to the heat absorption characteristics of the location of the pimple. After the completion of the treatment cycle, an audible beep sounds again to indicate that the procedure is complete.

After a completed treatment, the Zeno Acne Device goes into a forced 10 second Safety Mode and then returns to the ready state, indicated by the flashing green light and the audible ready tone. At this time, the user may choose to treat additional blemished by pressing the Treatment again or turn the device off by pressing the Power button. The Zeno Acne device will power off automatically after 35 seconds of inactivity to preserve battery power.

A data information panel informs the user of the status of the Zeno Acne Device battery charge and the remaining treatment tip life. Each tip is pre-programmed to deliver a fixed number of treatment cycles. After the number of treatment cycles has been exhausted, the top must be replaced. The Zeno Acne Device batteries are rechargeable and are designed for years of reliable service.

Should you need to interrupt a treatment cycle, simply press the Treatment Activation Button. The button will turn amber and, when ready, flash green to indicate ready for treatment.
